Broadband Committee

The State of Maine has created a strategic broadband plan to get Mainers access to modern high speed internet. To do this the state has set the definition of ‘broadband’ as 100/100 symmetrical service, meaning 100mbps download and upload speeds.

To achieve this goal, the Town of Wiscasset is working collaboratively with the towns of Dresden and Woolwich for the purpose of improving internet services and providers in the towns. The members of the committee are: Carla Dickstein, Evan Goodowsky, Marty Fox, Richard Litz, Larry Rines.

To aid this process, we ask all residents, businesses, and property owners to take the short broadband survey, preferably using their home wifi at:

For more information, contact the town office or to keep up to date with the Wiscasset Broadband Committee send an email to: WiscassetBroadband@gmail.com
