The State of Maine has created a strategic broadband plan to get Mainers access to modern high speed internet. To do this the state has set the definition of ‘broadband’ as 100/100 symmetrical service, meaning 100mbps download and upload speeds.
To achieve this goal, the Town of Wiscasset is working collaboratively with the towns of Dresden and Woolwich for the purpose of improving internet services and providers in the towns.
