Airport Lineman

The Town of Wiscasset seeks a part-time airport lineman to staff the airport’s Fixed Base Operation (FBO) at the Wiscasset Municipal Airport.  This is a part time seasonal position averaging 16-24 per week.  The duties will include:

• Meet arriving aircraft, guide them to parking spots, assist pilots in securing their aircraft, and otherwise serve the general aviation pilots and their passengers.
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Refuel aircraft
• Handle credit card and other financial transactions
• Light airport cleaning, maintenance, and grass mowing
• Daily fuel system and airport inspection

The successful candidate must have:

• An interest in aviation
• A professional, personable manner, able to perform various duties at once
• The ability to work independent
• Basic math and reading skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to work weekdays and weekends as needed between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm from May 1 through September 30

Custodians

The Wiscasset Parks & Rec Department is looking for individuals to join their Maintenance Team.  Must enjoy working with the public and be able to work independently.  Evening and Weekend shifts available.

Lifeguards and WSI's

Life Guards and WSI's needed to join our aquatic team at the Wiscasset Community Center, Parks & Rec Department.  We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible and dependable individuals to join our aquatic staff.  Suitable candidates should possess current CPR/FPR, Standard First Aid and Lifeguard Training Certifications.  Evening and weekend shifts available.
